Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi crowned Miss Universe, India's Vartika Singh in top 20

Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe 2019 in the ceremony held in Atlanta in the US on Sunday. Zozibini was competing with Miss Universe Puerto Rico Madison Anderson for the coveted title. The second runner-up was Miss Mexico. And Miss India Vartika Singh, who represented the country in the 68th edition of Miss Universe, made it to the top 20 contestants. Making a statement... She holds a degree in clinical nutrition and a masters in public health. Vartika was working with the World Bank before she started participating in beauty pageants. My parents didn't know at first. They got to know from a newspaper and they didn't know how to react.” “My dad told me that there are multiple opportunities for people to serve their nation and this is my opportunity to serve my nation with my hard work and talent.
